Welcome to my blog. I would like to use this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Matic. I have been obsessed with computers from an early age. It started with games, but then I started tinkering with computers and exploring the web. I was hooked. It started simple. I visited websites and tried to figure out how to make my own website. I used an old program called Frontpage, which allowed me to edit visually. Later on, I would start playing with basic HTML. I have discovered the coolest thing ever. It was the marquee element.
<marquee>I felt so good using it. I made computer do something. It was then and there that I decided to dedicate my life to computers. It was fun and challenging. This made me explore other areas, like photo editing and operating systems. I soon learned how to install Windows, eventually even Linux distributions. I explored how to customize these operating systems. After a while I also started going to the junkyard to get some computer parts that may or may not work. Soon I learned how to tell why a computer is not working. It was a lot of trial and error, searching online what could cause it and even asking local computer repair shops what could be wrong.
Soon I started fixing computers for friends and relatives. I did everything, from setting up printers, routers and troubleshooting other issues as well as make it work again.
After years of being a web developer, I am exploring other areas in computer science, IT, and so forth.
I will try to share as much as I can on things that I discover along the way.
I will use this blog, to document my findings. So feel free to join in on the ride!
